Flat Earth

Question1: The first picture is a map of the flat earth. We can see there are three flats on the earth and people are standing on the plates. I think this picture is very interesting because it shows us a quaint belief. Even if it is not correct, but if you use a different visibility to see this map, you can understand its beautiful. This picture not only represents the creative and thoughtful of human but also discloses the period is transforming. People found the round world by a lot of experiences. If we can evidence the earth is round successfully. We have to guess first and accept this first belief.

The second one is more amazing. I like painter use their painting to describe what they want to say or to do. My favorite part is the color of this picture. I have to say , this painting is very colorful and thoughtful. It shows us a flat earth on the other way. A man is trying to across through the atmosphere. There are many stars on a dark blue sky. The sunlight illuminates everywhere. Outside is a white universe with drifting clouds. I think the author wants to show us the persistence of human. We eager to chase the knowledge of a no side area. It accolades our curious thought is great.

Exploration is Important for Countries

Exploration is an activity that people can build information and experiences on it. In the past, John Cabot and Jacques Cartier had got some new lands, materials and cultures by the Viking trip. They became hero by the exploration. At the same time, they made a new phase of their countries. By the exploration, there were a number of ideas or decisions began, people started to urban and imposed the new continents. Exploration not only brings the success to the explorer but also gives hope to waiters who at home, exploration push the development of each countries and people got great achievement from different explorations, such as space exploration, exploration on the sea and project exploration.

Space exploration helped the development of countries. It developed inventions and collected some new information of countries. We made rocket travel to the moon and inventors investigate the relationship between the moon and vacuum. The inventors made some machines that can check the moon's surface. Explorers had arrived the surface of the moon. They are all the dreams of people in the past, but now, exploration changed them into a fact. These achievement will lead the exploration to go to a new term. They are also the examples that exposed exploration's important.

The development on the sea made some immense success, it built the heroes of the exploration of a country's history and provided the resources we have today. Marco Polo discovered the Asia after the exploration. Christopher Columbus discovered new lands after he read the stories of Marco. The next man is Cabot, than is Cartier. They all use their clever and courage to finished their complete venture and got the success of their countries. They were the fathers of all the land that they had discovered , they were all the patriots that dedicate for their country without a benefit. The exploration on the sea told the stories of each explorer. They use their hand to write the history of the world. The exploration was built like this, the next myth is waiting for a new hero to continue its secret.

The final example of the exploration is archaeology. Archaeology is different from the volume of first two sections, but it is also important to the improvement of countries. The explorers of this exploration is usually called archaeologist. Their job is to collect and clean the bones of dinosaurs. Some of them are also calculating the phase of these bones, just like to figure out the age of the bone. In fact, archaeologists dig the bones won't make people meeting any dangers and workers only should hardworking on the tunnels, but it is really a great work that was also be loved. It is cherish and cling by people because it can expose the past of people. Many enthusiasts of Jurassic Period are enjoy it very much. Inventors understand the reason of the birth of human by the archaeology. Now, there are many facts haven't been exposed, so there are many chances to develop this great program. many inventors' path of future had been illuminated by the archaeological exploration.

My group's puppet show is about Cabot. At the first section, Cabot will go to the palace to meet the emperor and share his opinion. After the kin agreed him to discover the Asia, Cabot will go and get his sailors. On the sea, Cabot is going to tell the story about he and his wife. On the other day, they reach to the new land and they will find some Indians, the war will be disclosing at that time. Finally, Cabot will bring his achievements to the Europe, but until he died, he even didn't know the land that he had found is not Asia, it is New found land.

2.. Who are the characters? Which student is the voice of the character?

Our characters are Cabot, Cabot's wife , The kin of Europe, three sailors and four Indians, a fish, a crow and a fairy of the sea. Nina control Cabot's voice. Rena is the leader of the Indians. Jessie is the kin. I am the fish and a crow. All of us are going to be the sailors and Indians.

3. What did you learn from making the puppet show? (3-5 sentences)

I think make puppet show is a interesting and amazing work. I like work with my group members. At the first day, we are not very enjoy it, but when we begin to work on it, we laugh a lot. We know what should we do, we cooperated with each other and have some fun. I think we know more about others and improve ourselves. We all got growth during this activity. It can practice and increase our ability. By these time, I understand a valuable experiences. If we wants to complete this work, all of us have to attend and accommodate every body's work. Now, our work is going to be finished. I was proud of our teamwork because we all hard working.

I would say everything. I am sure that you will be astound by our group's puppet show. I think our puppet show is a delicate comedy. It consist to all the happy of our members. It also contains our happy time during the puppet show.

Today we went to the computer room of the bell tower for our provincial exam. Today, we were only practice the exam of the Mozilla FireFox. In the provincial exam, we searched a web site and find our exam. Ms Chan taught us the use of the function of the exam , I think it is useful. If we confused about the question, we can just click the circle in front of the question. The function will remember the question what we confused. If we want to resee the question, we can just find the list that contain all the questions. The computer will add a symble to each question that you confused on its own.

The space exploration developed our inventions and information of many countries. We made rocket to travel to the moon and inventors investigate the relationship between the moon and vacuum. The inventors also made the machine that can check the moon's surface. This picture is made by the machine. It shows the half of the blue earth is in the front of the moon. It shows the beautiful earth is as brilliant as a crystal.

The second picture shows us the exploration developed lands. There are some ships on the water and a man lift a flag represents his country. In the past, European found some new lands and began to build cities. By develop the lands, people was better and better. Some of the explorers also found foods and Indians on the land. The exploration not only provided land and food but also built the history of the heroes.

The final picture describes the project exploration. There are some bones of dinosaurs in the picture. Some of them are made by the archaeologist and some are the real bones. The bones are for the visitation. They can expose a term of the past. Archaeologists dig the bones by the exploration and the bones show us the history of the Jurassic Period. We can know more information of ancient period.

Fur trade!

These pictures shows the fur trade from different ways. Fur trade is a popular term that people would like to wear fur clothes. The best material for hat felt was the soft underfur of the beaver. The first picture reveals a cute animal caught by the sharp tool. The poor animal was aggressive when he feels someone is coming. His eyes represent his feeling: suspense, emotion or hate. The common animals are facing the big danger, what's worse the valuable animal of Canada.

The pictures after the first one display the transportation and the selling of the furs. The second one is a ship picture. I don't know why they are smiling, maybe they like working on transport. In Canada, it is not allowed to kill beavers and sell their skins. It is a pessimistic experience of Canadian history. It is also a tragedy of beavers. The sellers of other countries would not understand the mood of beavers.

The next picture is about the fur store. When I saw a lot of furs integraled on the wall, I thought of the past. Ms Chan told us to write a answer about selling beaver's fur. At that time, I can't thought a interesting answer for this question. I think if the seller is me, I will get a blame from my responsibility because when I saw the carcass of beavers, I will feel angry and sad.

The forth is the ship of the transportation. There are many passels of the fur. There are some different goods are made by beaver. In the French, people use beavers' skin to made hat. The native people also like the idea of trading furs.They have enough beaver to make six hundred hats.That is a bloody trading of business.

The final picture is about a beaver toy. I chose this picture because I thought of a important idea. If people use beaver's skin to make a toy of beaver, it must very irony. People don't need real beaver but love the toys. If the toy is instead of the real animal, what a horrible event will be?

This week~

This week is as busy as usual. I go over my math 10 a lot and I think after review my provincial exam, there is no problem in my test of April. Even if I was busy every day, I also got some good events with my new friends. I told jokes to my classmates . We also do some words spelling practices on my English 10 classes. I got a good English practice time with my group member. That is so exciting that I do well. Our group is the final winner of the game. I was proud of my self by that, but there is also a bad experience. I retest my lesson 1-3, luckily, I passed. Ms Chan said:"if you didn't pass the test, there is no second chance for you!" and " study! study! study!" I feel sorry about the exam and my-self. I promised, The next time of the exam I won't fail! Now, I know how to review my test. I think Ms Chan is right, I should response my self and I should not only remember the Chinese translation. I belief I will do well on my next test.Finally, I want to say that let us run to the sun for our beautiful days!
